If you think you may be interested in the Hazard Mitigation Grant individual assistance applicant, please review the PowerPoint presentation file. In order to preliminarily enroll in the application you will be required to complete the Voluntary Mitigation Grant Participation Form and the Property owner Questionnaire II and submit it back to the Planning Department or Town of Middletown Building and Zoning Office by Feb 10th 2012. The County must have the LOI completed and submitted to the State by Feb 29th. There is also some information specific to tenants that were affected.


In the event someone is interested in pursuing an elevation rather than or in addition to an acquisition of their affected property, you must complete the Structural Elevation LOI and contact the Planning Department as soon as possible as the submission requirements are much more in depth and take additional time to prepare.


This program is completely voluntary; interested participants can back out at any time. If you cannot submit information by February 10th, please contact the County Planning Department for information on an extension for submittal. Thank you.
